It has been quite a knit. The pattern is the Twisted Loop Sweater from Otherloops.
I loved the cable detail in the pattern and have always had some doubts about how it would look on me. As a top down knit it can be tried on as you go but… I pushed on regardless, telling myself I could always pull it out.
Unfortunately, my doubts proved to be correct, and according to my daughter-in-law it did me no favours, largely due to the very deep raglan armholes.
Fortunately, my neighbour and friend Patsy dropped in just as I was about to pull it out. She thought it would be perfect for her for walking the dogs on a cold day. So glad. I can always unpick if she decides she doesn’t want it.
