My favourite knit top was a lightweight shrug top, perfect for just a little extra warmth over a tunic dress. I finally threw it out when it became to shabby and worn. I spent several years trying to get another, with no success. I came across a pattern called St Catherines in a book called Shore by Kate Davies that was similar and adapted it.

It is not quite what I wanted but as a jumper knitted in four ply it is light, warm and comfortable.
