From 28 Days in Provence

A gift from Tina - a book to inspire and encourage a trip to Provence.

An interesting read that documents the Bennett family's travels through the region and an account of their daily shopping for food and creation of meals with a focus on fresh and seasonal produce. 

Lamb Cassoulet with Preserved Lemon.

Slow cooked to perfection in my old Le Cruset pot. First the meat browned and onions softened on the stove top and then into the oven for a couple of hours.
