A day to promote the joy of dog ownership and encourage adoption of dogs from shelters. I am a cat owner and do not have a dog, however, I do enjoy the company of Maude and Ruby, two dogs that live nearby and get my doggy fix from them.
I often mind Maude for her owners, she enjoys a walk and coffee
And Ruby a cuddle.
