Mother Knows Best

Well, I do hope that my son thinks it so.

This mother has had a lovely day and is feeling pretty spoilt.  Coffee out with my boy, the casual family dinner with us two mums the centre of attention

with wishes for a

and a lovely gift - a new cheese board / platter

This weekend also include a trip to the Ballarat Apron Festival with my friend Emma who made an apron that won "Best In Show".

A big congratulations to her, she such a clever and talented person and lots of fun to be with.













The theme was make do and mend.

There were  displays of  'vintage' sewing items, stalls selling lovely old linen and sewing related stuff












This caught my eye - who knew that sewing machines could be orange

And of course aprons, there were so many to admire. The photo booths provided an opportunity to dressup
