Plum Crazy

The plums are finished - well mostly, we left a few for the wattlebirds who seem to enjoy them as much as we do.

Most were slowly roasted, packed into containers and frozen for later on











some were made into jam


A few made into desserts such as these individual plum pies.

Partially cooked plums nestled into some almond meal frangipane, enclosed in puff pastry and baked.











and because 'fresh is best'












 lots were picked and eaten straight from the trees.
