White Beaded Panel

 The latest embroidery, a beaded panel, is continuing my exploration of tonal variation within one colour. I haven't decided what to do with it, however, I have been making books and this would look good mounted onto a book cover. It has a variety of old washers trapped between layers of fabric, embroidery, old buttons and lots of beads, some new but mostly from old pearl necklaces.

    I'm constantly amazed at the things you create, Kerrie. This is so beautiful. And it looks at first glance to be a random scattering of nature, but then the eye flows so easily from one place to another. P
