I have quite a stash of old denim jeans, when I get a pair I usually cut them up. The legs I cut into squares and stack in a plastic box ready to go for quilts and cushions and the tops become bags. I often make them into giant overstuffed cushions - perfect for the floor, they provide a very comy seat.
This one has a heavy navy cord backing and a velcro opening so that the cushion cover can be removed. I have made lots of these sorts of cushion for teenagers and young people leaving home, the denim is usually a popular choice.
Very cool!
