Are You Book Enough 2020 Challenge March Theme, Hexagon

The hexagon shapes made me think of honeycomb and bees. This book was inspired by friend Helena who explains so well the process of caring for and keeping bees. Homeward Bound is an handmade bookThis book that is a stylised representation of  the beekeepers frame.

The slipcase has a lid to keep the bees and honeycomb safe.

The pages of the book are a series of hexagons, stitched together, some are covered with eco dyed fabric and some   Of the papers are old maps or or hand drawn maps or flight paths to represent the way the bees find their way back to the hive.
