Binding a Book

I enjoy making books and often turn my other ‘arty’ pursuits into a book. These Coptic bound books have been made as promotional material for a workshop that I will be teaching in a few months. The benefit of Coptic binding is that it allows the book to open flat and this makes it ideal for sketchbooks.

This book has each signature enclosed in an ecodyed/ botanical contact print cover and then a smaller altered paper wrapper.
