January - Black or Black & White

The first swap for 2016. As in previous years I have decided to make four and then swap three cards.

I decided on the black option. There are many thin strips of fabric, braids, yarn and trims with five different black buttons. It is a challenge to work in one colour and interest must be created with both shade and texture.

Interestingly all of my swaps were black and white.
