My First Pair

Sock knitting is quite popular with the ladies in my knitting group and not wanting to be left out I too have made a pair. They may be odd and not really a pair and they are certainly tiny but are perfect for Christmas decorations.

Both were knitted with the same crochet cotton, the larger was knitted on 2.5 mm needles and the smaller on 1.25 mm and using this free pattern by Julie Williams, Little Cotton Rabbits. I love the denseness of the knit on the small one but found the 1.25 mm needles a bit difficult with the decreasing, I am a tight knitter. I may make a few more and try 2mm kneedles or maybe really step up and make a proper pair for me.
