Last Days in WA

More time on the tourist trail. The old Whaling Station at Albany

And the National Anzac Centre

Worth visiting. Not to a shrine to war as such, however, an excellent record of the war and interactive displays. A moving tribute to and recognition of Australia's contribution to World War One.

The Bus back to Perth, a six hour journey from Albany. For those who read the Lee Childs novels - my own 'Jack Reacher' moment. Unlike Jack, I had luggage.

Our new digs for the night. Staying with my Aunty Rey and Uncle Nic. Hard to see in the photo but there are some gorgeous roses.

Dinner out at the Hyatt Regency.

The view from the end of the street as we walked around the Swan River on a gloriously sunny morning.

Selfie time - On the plane and coming home. From 30 degrees in Perth to a predicted 9 in Melbourne.
