Gone to a new home. One of my early quilts made a long time ago, possibly twenty years ago when the Aunt Grace Scrapbag range of reproduction 1930's quilt fabrics were first released. The pattern is a traditional 1930's block, however, I used a black background which is not typical of this era.
It is a large queen sized quilt with big borders made for tucking in. Originally, made for me but rarely used - once finished I found that I preferred the more traditional cream backgrounds. It has gone to a friend who likes bright yellows and dramatic colour arrangements. It is much better to be used than sitting in my cupboard, I hope it helps with the cold Winter nights.
