Brownies for Dessert

Make a tray of brownies and you can have this for dessert

brownie with pure cream and crumbled honeycomb

Or this

brownie with pure cream and raspberries in an orange liqueur syrup

 Or maybe this

brownie with coffee icecream, pure cream and a dust of cocoa and icing sugar.

A tray of brownies can get you through a couple of dinners. Wrap the slab of brownies in foil and put it in an airtight container in the pantry. When needed cut it into fingers or wedges and dress it up with flavours that you like.

Another favourite is to make chocolate sauce, warm the brownie in the microwave and serve with cream/icecream - sort of like a rich and decadent chocolate pudding perfect for the chocoholic.

When I intend to use the brownies for dessert I change the recipe slightly; remove 3 tablespoons of flour and add 3 tablespoons of good quality dark /Dutch cocoa.
