The last one for a little while - no more babies coming that I know of anyway. The request from the mum to be, my niece Renee, was purple, yellow and white. The pattern, from the book Cut - Loose Quilts by Jan Mullen, is called Roman Stripez. It is a crooked version of a traditional pattern. The quilt is approximately 42 inches by 54 inches, big enough to use for a cot, lap quilt or floor rug or a topper on a single bed. The backing is mauve pinwhale cord and the finished quilt is very soft and snuggly with shaggy edges.
