Last Days on King Island

Good tourists that we are,   we left no place unvisited.

Lots of coastline

More coastline and old cray pots

Bonsai garden

The Distillery

The King Island Brewhouse, a very jolly stop off point

These oversized carved wooden birds along the road

The carved Marrema and the real thing

The Museum had all the usual ‘pieces of the past’ and this cookbook was in the collection .

King Island Dairy for a cheese tasting and sales

If possible I always visit the cemetery

And avail myself of the fine dining on offer.

Walking into town and down to the wharf and coming across the most colourful and quirky house in town

And spend some time relaxing in the lovely garden of our rented house.

  1. Thanks for the picture tour Kerrie. For some reason, I don’t know why, I love the cray pots on the coastline picture. I’ll need to think about this. Cheers and Merry Christmas Jan
