Are You Book Enough Challenge 2021 - Fenced

This month’s challenge about fences got me thinking about all the miles that I covered driving around rural and regional Australia.  One does not need to wander to far from the cities to experience the miles/kilometres of fencing that define properties and keep livestock off the roads.

Simple wire fences with timber posts and droppers.

A simple concertina book or

Folded into smaller pages to make a regular book format.

Made with three oil paintings that were made for another project and discarded. The paintings were stitched together and then the fences machine embroidered over the painting.
