Emma Gorge Walk

The magnificent Emma Gorge.

Whilst not a very long walk at 1.6 km each way, it was not easy walk with a narrow path and lots of rocks that had to be climbed or scrambled over.

The bottom pool, a place to sit quietly and rest a bit. We were fortunate to see a turtle and some fish.

The track follows a river bed and crosses it in places

Another rocky pool  along the way, I loved the reflections of the rocks in the water.

The water in the pool was freezing cold but that didn’t deter the boys

Time to warm up in a little pool off to the side. Much warmer due to the thermal waters trickling in.
