The Oscail Cardigan

Sometime ago I signed up for the Celtic Knits Club with Stolen Stitches in Ireland. It has been a fun experience although I have only made one of the pieces. The Oscail cardigan.

The club essentially worked as three instalments, each instalment supplied a pattern, the yarn required and a little knitting related surprise gift. Each instalment comes as a surprise. The first was a beanie and mitts, the second was for a really gorgeous cowl/scarf and the third for either a cardigan or wrap. I am really only interested in garments so sent off for additional yarn to make up the yarns that I received for parts one and two into either another cardigan or a sweater or vest.

The cardigan had lots of cables including one that went up the sides and into the armhole

Front cables which were split version of the back cable. Each of the big cables and reverse stockinette panels were  separated with the small fishtail cables which I really love the look of.
