Are You Book Enough Challenge 2020 - August Theme, mountain

A Book of the Bungle Bungles / Purnululu

My interpretation of  the Bungle Bungle Ranges in Purnululu National Park. Found in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, these orange and black striped sandstone domes are often likened to giant beehives.

A concertina book made up of postcard sized pieces that are quick works in a variety of medium. As luck would have it the mountain theme was also selected for another swap that I participate in, this swap also included medium and techniques. I decided to keep to a similar shape or drawing and then adapt the postcard according to the prompt.
