This another garment made using the Carbeth cardigan pattern by Kate Davies. Made with the leftover yarn from two previous garments. I have made the cardigan before and worn it so much, it is very comfortable and easy to wear. I have also knit the Carbeth sweater twice, both extra long as sweater /jumper dresses.
The yarns are from Bendigo Woollen Mills, 12 ply Ironstone (blueish colour) and Charcoal (grey) knit in a two row stripe. Buttons are recycled from a dress that I made when I was pregnant thirty years ago.
A close up. The original pattern has the neckband doubled over, alas insufficient yarn for this.
